A voyage around Spitsbergen’s north coast is probably the most popular choice for first time visitors to the island and for good reason – dramatic scenery, a huge variety of wildlife as well as a visit to historical sites from the whaling era and more.
We are delighted to offer this fantastic 8-day voyage around Spitsbergen’s north coast where you can explore Longyearbyen, the capital of the Svalbard archipelago, look for bearded seals and spot a huge numbers of nesting birds, visit the remains of a 17th century Dutch whaling station and maybe spot a few polar bear and walrus along the way.
