Our 5-night break gives you the opportunity to visit the town of Kangerlussuaq, just north of the Arctic Circle and the gateway to West Greenland. This small community, surrounded by the magnificence of the great Greenlandic outdoors is surprisingly, blessed with some of the most stable weather in the Arctic region.

There is an excellent selection of winter activities, which you will get the opportunity to try including husky sledging, snowmobiling and also a Musk Ox Safari. Observe these noble creatures at close quarters and with luck, spot reindeer and Arctic foxes too. One of the highly recommended optional excursions is the exhilarating drive up to and along part of the impressive inland ice cap.

Travelling via Copenhagen, you’ll also have two nights to explore this vibrant city, which contrasts sharply with the remoteness of Greenland. Should you wish to extend your stay in Copenhagen or add extra nights in Greenland, please call us for details.

Prices start from £756 per person based on two sharing and includes return SAS and Air Greenland flights between London Heathrow and Kangerlussuaq via Copenhagen, 2 nights accommodation in Copenhagen (one night at each end of the trip) and 3 nights in Kangerlussuaq (your choice of either Kangerlussuaq Hotel on a B&B basis or Old Camp on a full board basis as detailed in itinerary – see brochure or website for details), airport transfers in Greenland but NOT in Copenhagen and taxes.
