Adventures on Aquacat...

If you fancy jetting away and doing something adventurous this summer, why not head to the Bahamas and learn to dive? The new Aquacat Cruise is the ultimate escape aboard your own luxury yacht. This 102' catamaran travels from Nassau down through the 365 cays, which make up the Exumas, offering a leisurely cruise designed for both divers and non-divers alike.

The Aquacat cruise is a unique experience, combining luxury accommodation with adventurous activities and the opportunity to visit idyllic uninhabited islands. It can be combined as a two centre holiday with any of our other hotels and islands.

The 11 double-passenger cabins of the Aquacat are some of the largest of any liveaboard in the world. Each cabin has a private en-suite bathroom with shower, hairdryer, mini-bar, individually controlled air-conditioning and carpeted floors. The salon has a spacious dining area, a beverage bar with complimentary soft drinks, beer, wine and rum drinks, a comfortable lounge area with VCR and DVD, two photographic viewing tables and a boutique. The alfresco deck has tables and chairs covered for outside dining or relaxing, and a barbecue. The sun deck complete with lounge chairs also has a beverage bar with complimentary drinks and clients have full use of the kayaks on board, as well as a 28' launch and two dinghies to transport you to the beautiful beaches and secluded coves.

The Exuma cays are all blessed by glittering beaches and snug harbours, and a significant number of the cays are protected within the Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park, where the waters teem with marine life and also some of the most beautiful and pristine reefs in the world. Snorkelling (with an average depth of 10 feet) doesn't get any better than this. There are no crowds, no set itineraries, nothing to do but sit back, relax and choose from an incredible variety of activities including scuba diving, snorkelling, fishing, sunbathing, kayaking, island exploring and beachcombing.

If you are not a certified scuba diver, the Aquacat offers full PADI certification courses (please contact our team for prices), you can even learn your theory at home before you leave the UK, allowing you maximum opportunities for dives whilst in the Bahamas. Aquacat enables you to dive remote walls, wrecks and coral reefs, which add up to a breathtaking underwater experience.

Prices for a 7-night stay aboard the Aquacat costs £1674 per person based on two sharing a double cabin on a full board basis. Price includes return British Airways World Traveller flights from London Heathrow to Nassau, return airport transfers and breakfast, lunch and dinner and all drinks aboard (except dinner on the last night in Nassau), up to 5 dives a day (conditions permitting). Price excludes Diver Certification.
