Whales, Wings and Wonders…

Experience a touch of wildlife this summer and watch friendly minke whales, be surrounded by thousands of seabirds and experience the surreal landscape of Iceland, full of volcanic features and some simply stunning natural wonders.

On our amazing whale watching trip in Iceland, you’ll enjoy whale watching from Husavik on the north coast, which offers some of the world’s best opportunities for viewing the inquisitive minke whale.

Aboard specially converted, traditional oak fishing boats, minkes are frequently spotted within twenty minutes of leaving the harbour, as are boisterous schools of white-beaked dolphins. Larger whales such as humpback, fin and sei are also occasionally sighted.

Birding enthusiasts will be thrilled by the abundance of species, both on and around Lake Myvatn as well as along the rugged coastline. As one of Europe’s premier bird watching locations the photo opportunities are superb – see Harlequin duck, Barrow’s Goldeneye, Red-breasted Merganser, Red-throated diver and countless more species

We have just 4 departure dates remaining with availability, these are 19th and 26th May, 2nd and 9th June 2005 so don’t miss out on this great opportunity!
