We offer both summer and winter holidays to Iceland. In summer, take advantage of the long daylight hours, with the high season being June and August. The best months for wild flowers and birds are May and June, but if you want to travel through the uninhabited interior of Iceland, you should plan to visit mid-July to early September when most of the highland tracks are open. Other summer holidays include fly drives, whale watching and horse riding.

From late August until March, the spectacular northern lights can often be observed. Displays can vary in intensity from a glowing curtain of greenish yellow lights, dancing in the distance to a spectacular, multi-coloured fusion stretching across the sky.

Our city break to Reykjavik is popular all year round. In summer you can wander through the city and explore the surrounding countryside, or visit one of the many summer festivals. In winter marvel at the Christmas lights and festive celebrations and search the night skies for the Northern Lights. Whichever time of year you travel to Reykjavik you can also learn how to party the Icelandic way in the thriving capital city of Iceland!

Greenland Holidays

You may wish to extend your Iceland holiday with a trip to Greenland or you can travel via Copenhagen, but if you like the great outdoors, have a sense of adventure and are interested in learning about new cultures then a holiday to Greenland is for you.

Our Greenland summer holidays include land-based tours from May to Sep and our Greenland voyages operate in August and September. Our Greenland winter holidays include husky sledding adventures and you can visit Kangerlussuaq on our Musk Ox and Glacier tour which also includes a 2 night stay in Copenhagen.

Land based holidays Holidays range from 2 or 3 night add-ons to your Iceland holiday to a 9-night stay in Ilulissat in the stunning Disko Bay region flying via Copenhagen. The country is most accessible during the light summer months of May to September, but we also offer two special winter trips providing great opportunities of witnessing the northern lights, which include husky sledging on our 5 to 9 night husky adventure or Musk Ox and Glacier tour.
